Eleuthera Vacation Rental by Owner in Rainbow Bay
BlueSkies is a vacation rental by owner located in Rainbow Bay, Eleuthera, The Bahamas. Rainbow Bay Beach, one of Eleuthera’s beautiful beaches, and miles of other empty beaches are only minutes away from the BlueSkies cottage.
Getting to Eleuthera is quite easy, as the island can be reached from Nassau, Miami, Ft. Lauderdale or other major USA or Canada airports.
Rainbow Bay is definitely a convenient location for your vacation since it lies at the heart of the island: Governor’s Harbour, the capital city, is only 15 miles to the south and other towns, such as Hatchet Bay and James Cistern, are both short distances away. Governors Harbour Airport is only 8 miles south of Rainbow Bay. North Eleuthera Airport is also a possible option for your travel since it is circa 30 miles north of Rainbow Bay.
BlueSkies Cottage can sleep 4 persons and it has been designed and furnished with much care, to provide our guests and ourselves with comfort and beauty.
Cottage’s interior is air conditioned to keep you comfortable on hot days and features 2 bedrooms (the main bedroom with a queen bed and the second bedroom with twin beds), a fully equipped kitchen and an open concept living and dining area.
There is also a nice covered porch for dining out and a patio for sunbathing. The cottage has all the amenities you would need for your vacation: microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, patio dining table & chairs, charcoal barbecue, snorkeling gear.
A convenience store and a restaurant are nearby.
We have a friendly local caretaker couple who will welcome you and work hard to make sure you have everything you need for a perfect holiday at our rental cottage.
Please be aware that we have a strict “No-Smoking/No-pets policy”.

Clean and lovely furnished and decorated cottage. Beach on Atlantic and Caribbean sides of the island close by. Correspondence with the owner was excellent and the cottage was clean and lovely decorated. Cannot mention any restaurant as October was low season an most restaurants closed. Grocery stores in James Cistern and other villages available. We definitely can recommend this cottage. Rainbow Bay Beach down the road is excellent for swimming and snorkeling.

This was a family vacation we planned at the very last minute. Owner replied to us right away and house was available. We had a great time. House was nice and clean, with everything we needed. It was very easy to access, yet in a private and quiet area away from the main road. Centrally located in Rainbow Bay, it was very easy to visit both ends of the Island. It was our first time in Eleuthera and the island is beautiful!
